and cherry toms (It was a lottery what seedlings got to grow as my 2 year old son took all my labels off when they were tiny seedlings! Next year they are going in the flower bed in a sunny spot. After the disastrous blight which affected both potatoes by mel

turbo plants
grow many plants from them. Some people have real problems with tomato blight, in which case grafted plants would be well worth a go. The same thing goes if you're growing yours for a show. Otherwise I think it's more fun to use seeds. Emma by newallotmenteer

After growing spuds successfully for several years in bags, I had hoped the 3rd year trying for Christmas spuds might have been within my grasp but me thinks set back with late blight, the plants are not looking very healthy and with the threat by Zoomer44

Old Compost
Simon Yep-best thing do with it-as a soil conditioner Don't do it if you had Blight though, or at least, don't use the compost in areas where you are going to grow potatoes or tomatoes. I use all old compost, planters as a soil coditioner on my clay soil by Simon5

and they keep. I prefer the skins off. Can't grow main crop because of blight and colorado beetles. We eat rice and pasta more often anyway. by Zoomer44

Lonicera Nitida
of low box hedges around beds.  The box succumbed to box blight and the hedges were replaced with Lonicera nitida.  They were happily trimmed with both electric and hand clippers, although into straight edges, so don't see why they can't be made into ball by Rosa carriola

Best tasting cherry tomatoes
have a really tomatoey flavour, if you know what I mean. I found Sungold at least as good as Gardeners' Delight, and they seemd to resist the blight quite well too. I grew Sungold for the first time last year - unbelievably sweet and will grow again by Verdun
