What Climber to have for a shaded area?
to clematis I always used to go for Indigo blues or deep violets for something a bit different. I agree with Mermaid, I have Trachelospermum jasminoides in a shady spot outside the back door, its smell and flowers are heavenly and I also have a blue clematis by BlueDreamer

A weed or something nice?
Found this growing in the flower bed today.  Any idea what it is?   Is it a weed or a keeper? Anemone blanda, something nice. It's easy and seeds around so some probably call it a weed Spot on, think i'll keep them then.   Thanks Adore this little by Bagz

Weed or flower
.    When it comes to weeds, the old saying about a stitch in time is very true! I let one grow and it had tiny blue flowers on it, but very very shallow rooted so thought it might be a pest! I'll get back out there tonight and pull them up Any thoughts by debanslow

Potted Lilly Companions Please
lilies. I thought it would be interesting to grow a blue-flowering climber (Ipomoea) up a tall orange lily.I found 3 problems: Lilies have a short flowering period, so it's difficult to synchronise flowering times. Also lilies also like a rich compost by Adam Young

to prune or not to prune
i bought a couple of 'blue chip' dwarf buddleias last year but the planting instructions didn't say whether to prune or not to maintain their shape and promote flowers.  advice please! I've just pruned my dwarf buddleias for the 3rd year in a row by gardeners delight
