Blue hydrangea
Last summer my hydrangea had pink flowers - the year before they were blue. I understand they become blue with increased soil acidity. Can anyone tell me how to achieve this again? Aluminium sulphate - you can get it from garden centres. Iron nails by Lordswood

Rusty patches on Muscari Big Blue
Muscari should be dying back now, so what is happening is probably quite normal. It'll be back next spring. Thanks for your reply but that is the smaller spring bulb I am refering to Muscari 'Big Blue' which is much bigger and flowers in late summer by Rosa4

blue butterfly
This beautifull bright blue butterfly was flying around my allotment today.  it's wings underneath are not so bright but it would not open its wings when it landed which wasn't for long. It was very small not sure if it is a common blue or holly by Aliesh

Best blue flowering plant
I grow lots of blue flowered plants. What's your favourite? How about linum perenne to start? In summer, and grown next to santolina lemon fizz....yellow foliage....and behind a yellow osteospermum it is a real eye catcher all summer long. well by Verdun

My True Blue Hydrangea
Hi there,I cannot get over how true blue my hydrangeas were this year.  All I can put it down to is me feeding them tea leaves, cold brewed tea and sugar.  These are then added to the water in my watering can.  This mixture is the only thing I feed by Sue43

Those wonderful blue salvias
Have I persuaded any,of you to try salvia patens or any other blue flowering ones? They are tender, perennials treated much the same as dahlias and also form tubers. They flower for months,,have scented leaves but what glorious blue flowers. Keep by Verdun
