vandalism
our lottys were vandalised . 7 gardens entered and sheds broke in.all hens and livestock terrorised and let free.  what sort of objects are we breeding.  most of us are retirees.we just want to be left alone.  is it worth carring on Always worth by wrinkly1

Noooooooo they're awake.........
that the nematodes work on these blighters, although they won't need to if I see them first...... Poppa Greenwood on GQT just advised going out for evening slug hunts now before they start breeding- but by the size of the toddlers in the gh, they're already hatching by The Manic Slughunter:)

,I too last looked at a drosophila many decades ago, whilst studying A-level genetics at school! I remember grouping them by wing size, spots or no spots, colour etc. The poor things had 2 weeks of frenzied breeding and eating, only to be unceremoniously by Sheila

the think of them as vermin. BUT it is a good idea not to leave bird food out on the ground and they breed so very fast. We have a rat living and eating off the fat of the land in our garden. He's a delight and has given us much pleasure as we've waited by catrincardiff

took them and let them go on the common on his way to work (bless him). This year we have had a rat and it has been caught. Poppy, I think you will have to remove them, they breed so fast and I think the babies are ready to breed in about 5 weeks. I by Agatha

too is devastated by holes they've dug. Could be a shotgun if they keep on breeding like this! We have a family of 5 who sprint around our garden every day, stealing entire seed feeders rather than just emptying them! Fat balls last about 5mins by Julie
