Cherry brown rot blight
My cherry blossom has brown rot blight but can't find treatment and wondered if it would affect my other trees such as apple plum etc. Do I need to chop the cherry tree down or can I salvage it, the brown rot started last year. It thought by Cinders

We have a small orchard and unfortunately this rot happens every year, especially the last two which have had a high humidity level all year round, especially when sun should have help fruit mature. I shall make extra sure that I leave nothing by chantalou

Plum problems
I have a three yr old espalier plum tree which this yr has given me lots fruit. BUT brown rot has set in and Many of remaining fruits have splits (single or y- shaped). The rot is entering through these. Having removed almost all the fruit by Cherry5

What is wrong with my apple tree?
Please can anyone tell me what is wrong with my apple tree? The apples split from early formation. I have two apple trees, one eating and one cooking and both are affected. Many thanks in advance It looks a bit like  Brown rot (Monilinia fructigena)Brown by Bluebell16

Hi i was just wondoring what i am doing wrong.I planted onion sets about 6 weeks ago in raised borders full of topsoil and some of the bulbs are rotting dark brown and soft the leaves look healthy and are about a foot tall by kevin merriman

Talkback: Blossom end rot
Some of my tomatoes have blossom end rot. I have them in my greenhouse. If I take off the the bad fruit, will the rest be ok. What is the best treatment for this problem please. Many thanks. janicef. i have conifers turning brown what can i try by alfmit@karoo

Problems with Quince
I have a large quince tree but rarely get to eat any of the fruit as it suffers very badly with brown rot.  I religously pick off infected fruit as soon as I see it.  I pick up and burn all the leaves and keep the area under the tree clear by pansy2

Potted Lupins
I recently noticed that some of my Lupins after i pruned them just had a little stump left which has gone brown. I dug them up and they didn't have a lot of roots, think they might have been rotting so i put them in a pot and put them in my by Robert Lovelock

healthy, any ideas would be helpful  Have you inspected the roots?  It could be that they have been waterlogged, even though you say they look as if they need water.  Waterlogging would cause the roots to rot. The other possible culprit is the dreaded by Daphne Luker
