New lawn help!!
Hi, Last January we moved into a new build house and found the grass was dying so during last summer we took the old turf up. Put some new top soil down and laid new turf. But this year due to our rather wet winter, I have found the grass has died by Gloucestergirl13

Tip to save money in your garden
from half a pallet and a bit of old water pipe.  This shed only cost £70.00 to build and will probably out last all of us. The £70.00 cost went on ballast/cement and steel for the concrete base. The rest is was pretty much sourced from skip diving by Coppernob

Designing from scratch
Hi all,  I've finally decided to make a start on my garden!  It's still at the early stages but I'm really enjoying building all the hard landscaping, it's hopefully going to be a sort of "contemporary Japanese" style, which in my head, means modern by Trickydicky2

Re-felting a shed
is easy peasy - throw the felt over the roof and nail it on with felt nails, tucking the edges under. Also, there are a zillion vids to watch on youtube, titled: How to refelt a shed roof. As for the door, build it yourself - just copy the old door using by bcosergio

Tin Can Recycling
this on GW programme and worked well when I had a go.  Anybody made anything else with a tin can? That's splendid Sam. OH has been collecting cans for years. He's going to build a summer house and tile it with flattened out cans.  We got one of these kits by Sam Glendinning
