mystery bulbs
Why do bulbs appear on the surface of the ground without help from sqirrels. Some bulbs are planted 4-5" in depth but for some reason this year I have found the bulbs lying on the top in several gardens.Has any one got an answer to this? by Peter Chapman2

Identifying bulbs
Recently I bought a pot of bulbs with foliage at a Bring & Buy. The bulbs are sitting proud of the soil and are really green.  The foliage is bright green, strappy leaves but floppy.  I confess, even as an avid gardener, I have no idea what by witchychris

Spring Bulbs
I have daffodils, tulips and other spring bulbs which are planted in containers and have now finished flowering.  The foliage is still green especially on the daffs.  I would now like to empty the pots for veg planting and some summer bedding plants by Jante

Amaryllis Bulbs
Amaryllis Bulbs is it poss to keep for next year and get flowers ? I have tried two years running now the bulb is ok and it produces leaves . But no flowers ? I love the plant and even have just bought a new one  just starting to grow  Any tips by GRACELAND

Growing fennel bulbs...
This was the 2nd year trying to grow bulb fennel. The rain has suited because none of the plants have bolted, they look healthy but the bulbs  are still quite small,are they likely to get much bigger and when do you harvest. by Zoomer44

I have had problems with the dreaded Lily beetle this year so I want to lift them and plant them under cover for next year. As I would like to plant something else I would like to do this ASAP. Do I treat than like spring bulbs and feed them by lindapalmara

Dried up Tulip bulbs
Hi, How viable are my Tulip bulbs if they are dried up and shrivelled? Is there anything I can do? Unfortunately I couldn't plant them out last year so spent a season in storage. Your advice will be much appreciated. Sorry to say I don't think they by Virago
