Buying spring bulbs online
I have just had this months edition of GW magazine drop onto my doormat and I see from the front page it is all about buying spring bulbs.  In the past I have bought from Parkers and have had mixed results with some not flowering at all and others by Lavender Lady

Talkback: Planting bulbs in lawns
I have only planted bulbs in pots to prevent our dog from digging them out of the grass ;) It's not my dog digging in the lawn that bothers me, but the squirrels! They are burying nuts everywhere – in pots, borders, and in the lawn. They haven by Lu

Talkback: Growing spring bulbs
I've just found a packet of tulips that I bought but obviously forgot to plant! Is it too late now - I live in Provence, France. RegardsRoslyn Sadly, I think it's too late. However, if the bulbs are still solid and sound then do try planting them by Alice

Lifting Lily bulbs
Am I able to lift my lillies and transplant them at this time of year (September)? Wait until the leaves die back completely, this is usually around November time. They need to photosynthesise to store energy in the bulb for next years growth by mdw84

Bulbs sprouting now??
I've noticed today that bulbs are starting to sprout in my garden....... I'm totally new to gardening and have only been at this house since June, so i have no idea what they are.  I'm guessing daffodils. Anyway, surely this is too early for them by Bagz

Are Morrisons bulbs any good ??
Have been looking at Morrison bulbs in my local store.  They are very cheap only £1 for a small bag so wondered if anyone has tried them.  They have all the summer flowering ones -  I was tempted by the spring flowering bulbs in there in the autumn by Lavender Lady
