can work around them. Kate Bradbury thought they could be a bumblebee, but they are too small. Reply to JulesMeat is meat to a wasp, whether it comes in the form of insect prey or is pilfered from sandwiches. You should always be wary of wasps visiting by mmfp

Plants still in flower?
happens and fleeced those that are delicate. i also have roses in flower. Te bumblebees are gorging themselves on my heathers which are flowering early this year. But the snowdrops have kept to their usual schedule.  This one usually flowers end Dec by Kate Bradbury

Weekend 22 March
waterfeature in the rockery as we've got a bigger one for the bumblebee border which I've planned. Hot chocolate required - I'm freezing. Brrrrrrrrrr jean, could do with a hot choc. I think a weekend of pondering plants is in order G'day Not musch planned by obelixx

think generally all hibernating creatures will emerge later this year than other years as it's been so cold. I certainly haven't seen any bumblebee queens yet, last year there were loads on the wing by now (where I live, anyway). I would definitely put by sweetpea

Botanic Garden is the goldcrest, our smallest bird. In the spring the young take no notice of people and hop round the yew hedges at a terrific speed, so small you can hardly distinguish them from a bumblebee except for the colour. The adult birds tend by fussybones

Talkback: Mouse in the compost bin
the bumblebees have grown very found of them. Oh! and my leaf cutter insects. I have field mice in the garden as we back onto open countryside, We are fortunate to have a high number of birds of prey which often hunt over the garden, along with the local cats by Agatha
