What is this?
you a link to lots of photos but for some reason the system is malfunctioning.  Just Google Noctuid Moth Images and you should get some good pictures. A Chrysalis of some sort, but I wouldn't know if it is a butterfly or moth.   I often come across by Des4545

Bumblebee walls
can do any cadgeing of sedums (a parent?) it would be very cheap and bees and butterflies love it.  Most single flowers are useful so a cheap and chearful packet or two wouls go a long way. You can get annual wildflower mixes. Some seed companies sell by Yetscience

Greenhouse erection is up..but will it stay up??
is in..but..i didnt look properly at the instructions and didnt place the butterfly clips in the correct spaces..aka 12mm in the corners of some panes etc..Now, i have tried to rectify this and re-did a few of the panes...but i cant reach one side by garjobo

What to plant around vegetablble patch?
and butterflies or do any plants help keep pests away or encourage wild life to eat the pests? All plant/ flower suggestions are welcome, thank you x I always grow marigolds in the garden and on my veggie plot - lovely to look at and they help to keep pests away by Tina_i_am

buzz. Long floweriing? hi christopher, thanks for advise,yes they are long flowering, and i had butterflies i have never had before, i got them from TM they are supposed to be small enough for large pots, but i think they will be better in the garden by lynne24

What are your favourite plants from gc bargain section?
been rewarded with a wonderful show year after year.eg Rose Valentine Heart light pink strong perfume, Peony Dancing Butterfly simply stunning,Honeysuckle Graham Thomas lovely yellow and cream always covered in bees. I also grow from seed I collect by lilysilly

Easy care plants
for butterflies are easy and how about scabious which children find very pretty (little pincushion flowers) and are great for bees and butterflies too. My girls loved dianthus which I had in a big clump beside the path and they called it the hedgehog! Very tactile by The Artist

? Is there enough food for them while sharing it with other wildlife such as bumblebees and butterflies? I love watching the buzz and I try to plant plants so they flower in sequences all the year but I am aware that two-three flowering plants per month by petra-vesna

How and where to site a Bee house ??
hello, having decided at the beginning of last year to try and encourage more bees/butterflies and then planted the relevant plants/flowers (then we had the wettest summer so far !!!). i would now like to help even further by building by shazza3
