whilst driving to work and delighted at the lovely bright dandelions that seem to shine from within themselves! They certainly are beautiful and I will admit to not being completely on top of them in my "lawn" but I do have to be careful as I live by Richard Jones

in site.My garden is too wet to be able to make a start, my heavy clay like a quagmire, slipped over several times already, so folks be careful out there. Collecting seed of local provenance ticks all the boxes. Not only does it guarantee growing tough by alanthomas

and hedgehogs & etc ? As the molluscs are active BELOW the surface, and will detect the bait there, will it reduce risk to wildlife ? NO! don't feed slugs or snails to your hens they will give them internal worms that can build up to damaging levels,ducks are a by Sophie33

of them I've decided to plant the garden with things the little critters will leave alone, I don't mind losing the occasional plant here and there as I enjoy having all sorts of wildlife and don't want to change the garden environment too much. I am a by donutsmrs

beloved plants by any means or waste money on replacements but I'd be more angry with myself for using chemicals that could potentially harm good wildlife  Oh I just did my homework, nematodes are used in the non-chemical version of pest control during by tattianna

Lupin problems
the problem is within normal bounds. Good luck! its ironic how we struggle and fuss over growingcertain  plants in our gardens, and at times u go out on the trains and country walks and these same plants grow happily on railway verges without a care by Yellow Daisy

baffled by strawbs and a mystery plant
pellets for ages but everywhere sold out. could i use salt? it could be lettuce, it is one of the things i have planted. seems a bit leggy to me though? Don't throw salt on the garden-you can use salt on a slug but it is not a pleasant sight!! Wildlife by Mizz
