Nettles for Butterflies
and softness of the deadnettle varieties.  Does anyone know if these are as useful to butterflies and wildlife as the stingy horrible kind?  I'll happily let those roam in a patch of my garden if they are. Well some people say they are but according by Green P

Raising tadpoles in the classroom
in Wimbledon. Please don't do it!  The whole process from spawn to the stage where any young frog could safely be released is probably about 3 months. During the whole of that time you will have to supervise closely and carefully the whole of the tadpoles by Fionnuala Coughlan

The Buzzing bush!
. There was some footage of a brave soul putting their hand into a ball of bees. Not recommended, but apparently safe.Best way to find out is to have a careful peep.If it is bees then get some professional advice. It surely will be careful! I'll wait until it's a by Moonlit Hare

Ideas for the site of my garden pond 2
to attract any wildlife. I've decided to relocate the pond to a more sunny area away from the raised bed. Have you any suggestions of what I can do with the old pond site which is about 2 meters long and 1.5 meters wide? Not a pond expert Gary but I do have by Gary Kinch

nest in my compost bin i hope he enjoyed the veg I put in there but come the spring he goes back to where he came from so good luck to him and I hope to see him in the winter all wildlife needs somewere to live. I have tried and fail to stop the rats by SuziQ

Poor little mouse. The profusion of ctas in my areas bugs the life out of me. Endless destruction of borders, faeces in the soil, dead birds. I cannot fathom why people (especially wildlife enthusiasts!!) keep these dreadful animals as house pets by Grannyanne

in spring.@Margaret5 and @fieldfest - my mum once had a rat in her compost and made me evict it, on Boxing Day! She said it was my fault as I made her garden more wildlife friendly but all she got was rats and wasps. Still, it was the only rat I've seen in a by oldchippy

Idea's and suggestios for my front garden please
from the front garden. I would really love a cherry blossom tree. seen a young one for £40 locally.  Are they easy to look after? Also would love any suggestions on other easy to care for plants I could consider. Preferably wildlife friendly. Would just by Rebecca64
