Whats your plans for the garden this year?

Thoughts on Nesting Boxes
of others? I have no personal experience, such as you describe. However, birds are normally careful about where they nest. If a bird thinks a site might be unsafe and open to predators, then a sensible bird would not nest there. Perhaps your box would have by daydaisy

but it looks very impressive in your picture!I have a dedicated wildlife area in my garden now which consists of log piles, wild flower lawn and all my fences and partitions within this area are made from either upended logs or hurdles made from entwined by angelfreem1976

boundaries
trouble, we want boundaries. i need suggestions please on hedging plants, my wish list is, safe for dogs and children non invasive and easy to care for ever green as the neighbours would complain about leaves  tallish but not too high offering some by carole staley

per pot, you can't go wrong. My mistake was assuming that the builders replacing my soffits would take care of my beds.They had no choice but to put their ladders amongst my beds and I asked them to try and place thier ladders around the plants but I by tadrcf@aol.com

Driest we've been in Bristol since 1976 so I am going to be careful about which plants I grow. Mediterranean type plants like lavender and rosemary and the grey-leaved ones are fine. I will have a good look at the Botanic Garden. Their South by happymarion
