per pot, you can't go wrong. My mistake was assuming that the builders replacing my soffits would take care of my beds.They had no choice but to put their ladders amongst my beds and I asked them to try and place thier ladders around the plants but I by tadrcf@aol.com

Driest we've been in Bristol since 1976 so I am going to be careful about which plants I grow. Mediterranean type plants like lavender and rosemary and the grey-leaved ones are fine. I will have a good look at the Botanic Garden. Their South by happymarion

on the pavement. Six neighbours up one side of my garden and one on the other so lots of cat visitors. They are all well fed at home so do not seem to care for my wildlife which has lots of hiding places anyway, but come for a bit of company when their carers by happymarion

(11 years). Our lounge is at the back of the house so we get a daily display from the comfort of my sofa. It is great to watch them flying over my pond and garden. Saw some fabulous bats on holiday last week in Jersey, at Gerald Durrell's wildlife park by nashonii@gmail.com

buried snails
you see. I am having similar problems with slugs and thought my remedy would be a resident hedgehog but a friend has just advised me to install a mini pond to attract frogs and wildlife and this should sort out my problem with the slugs I'm not sure by diggingdoris
