gooseberry bush
apparently good crop that is developing now? Apparently, pouring boiling water over a bucket of foxglove leaves and leaving for a couple of days then spraying the result on the bushes may help.  There is also Nemasys caterpillar & sawfly killer by Cait

Rose sawfly
My Jacqueline Du Pre has been stripped of leaves  by the rose sawfly caterpillar, but what I would like to know is whether this pest eats other plants too.  I have  lupin, galtonia and gladiolus plants that show the same type of attack as the rose. by lynnoot

Talkback: Mullein moth
The mullein moth is one of the ever decreasing number of British moths to be found in the wild. It is appalling to recommend the destruction of these caterpillars. I have observed moths for 50 years and I have seen my first mullein moth caterpillars by Lovemoths
