Beats the pigeon and a mangy cat I had in my garden. But do they have bluebells, birch trees and russet apples? It all sounds lovely.I am glad we don't get snails that size here,the big black slugs with the orange underbelly are enough of a problem by Kate Bradbury

I dislike the scent of Jasmine which smells like cat's pee to me. I agree, the "stinking iris" seems not to stink at all! Is there a case under the Trades Description Act, do you think? Geranium leaves are one of my dislikes, fausty and horrible by Garden Hero

Growing holly as a pot plant?
 left the cut branches lying on the ground to keep cats away. A year later they had rooted! I agree.    Holly is fairly slow-growing, so ideal for a pot and has the benefit of being evergreen. I use holly prunings to put in a tub of spring bulbs.   It helps by emmarose

Split Garlic
and that is because an animal, next doors cat I suspect, bent them over. I wondered if it was simply that they are not ready yet as there are only 2 yellowing leaves on each plant. However they don't look as if they would have formed a normal garlic bulb at any time by bobloes
