Talkback: Hedgehog spotting
,Problem is I now have to sit in garden to keep the cats from eating the food,I have used a old peat bag with straw and paper inside but don't think they are using it , maureen ,cambridge I have one in my garden that we feed with cat food. It also has a regular by rowena2188@yahoo.com

Brown patches on my conifer
might have. Thank you They do tend to brown for various physiological reasons.  Could a fox or cat be urinating on it? by My Nans Garden

Adding chicken droppings to compost?
. Thanks. Yes, adding droppings, sawdust, straw etc is OK.  As long as the pet is vegetarian (so not dog or cat), droppings are fine to add.  So rabbit, guinea pig droppings OK too. by Tracey Gannon

't work! Very useful article. i have 4 cats but i have a lot of birds visit my garden. i have feeders all over the garden and bird baths and water features. Maybe because lots of cats and magpies round here for the first time in many years I have very by rucklidge

our new, young female cat seems to have taken it upon herself to make their lives a lot more difficult by chasing them at any opportunity! Funny, because our older male cat just ignores them...Anyway I have not really found anything else by Abbie2

Front Garden
. A cat keeps messing on the lawn and I spend a lot of time clearing it up. Keeping the grass short helps, and we have put the garlic smelling type of cat repelant on the lawn and soil. So I do need some quick answers before the weather gets too bad by simmscm

Pond advice
Atm I have a very small preformed pond with two fishes in. A goldfish and blue orfe. It fits them now, but in the future I want to give them a better home (and some friends). The pond has a small wicker fence around it to prevent my cats from by RubyLeaf
