Metal obelisk or willow wigwam for sweet peas?
I need some help in choosing the right supports for my sweet peas.  I don't want to spend a huge amount of money but I do want to choose something that will look right in my newly landscaped garden.  Any advice - and photos - would be most welcome by happycottontail

Salvia's
I've just planted up a bed of Salvia, something is stripping the leaves,no sign of slug activity, could it be ants ? No- ants will not eat plants-it is most probably slugs or snails-have you taken any precautions? Not as yet loth to use pesticides,Planted by lordkent

problem area in garden
matter (well-rotted manure> and grit to improve the drainage and the structure of the soil. Once that's done, you will be able to choose from a large number of plants - to give just one example, I have roses thriving in a similar situation. Thanks by amateur gardener
