christmas cactus wont flower
Hi my friend  who lives in a care home got a christmas cactus   a few  weeks ago, but even though the plant is very healthy and green with lots of  pink shoots ready to flower they have just dropped off, why has this happened is it tt  warm by trishar

Repotting a Christmas Tree...
Decided to get a real Christmas Tree last year and bought one in a pot to go on the coffee table, it's about 2ft tall. It went outside in January and I didn't expect it to survive but it looks as healthy as the day it was bought, hasn't dropped any by Zoomer44

Happy Christmas Kate,All the holly up the golf course has had the berries taken by the birds at the beginning of December so there's not much left ,the ivy has also gone over with not much to look at at all,may be next year will be more productive by oldchippy

Christmas tree
I have a Christmas tree in my front garden about 8 feet high and about 8 feet from the house.  Is my house in any danger from the roots or do the roots stay fairly thin? Hi, Conifers don't have long roots. So, no problem. Rather, the problem would by JANE6

10 years ago I bought a little christmas tree in a pot for £6 ,its the best christmas tree but I ever had.I feed it and water all through the year and have just transplanted it to another pot for this year.I also rescued another from outside house by flowering rose

Christmas reading,
A.T. s new book was a wonderful read for me this Christmas. It had the Good Feel Factor, a rare commodity these days. Thank you Alan for cheering me up during these dark days of winter. Just had a book on arboretums and the many different trees by daydaisy
