flooded plot
is not near any sewers etc. or should I just bin the whole lot?  I suppose it depend how long you're under water. If it goes down quickly and the water is clean you may be OK. Is your home safe? is your plot prone to flooding ,if so can you move to another by my plot

cans, plastic shopping bags of Supermarket picnics, things which fall out of the Bin lorry and such like, is because every now and then I don a pair of thick rubber gloves, take a plastic bag and clean the place up. We pay a huge amount in tax and get by Berghill

Plastic sprayers.
clogged then it wont work-try cleaning that out? Have the same problem eddie and have never worked out why. I have the same problem, now I just wait till I have finished a bug or fungus spray wash them well and throw them away when they stop working. Eddie by eddie3

Garlic
Hi   My garlic have shoots about 3/4 inches long poking through the soil. I have had fleece on them since the first night when, I'm presuming birds, pulled the "seed" bulbs clean out from under the soil.  However, a couple of the shoots look a by Brycey D

Chicken Coop
& because I have arthritis in my neck I can't bend down to clean them out so OH does the bending down bits. If we were starting again I think we'd go for a shed attached to the run which is 8'x12'. I am getting an eglu soon & can't wait. Enjoy your girls by Pete

New gardener rose question
, clean off and bin or burn all the affected foliage when it drops so the spores don't stick around for next year.   Keep your roses well fed from early spring to late June so they are strong enough to withstand disease. by biff227

Growing hyacinths in water
? With the water in it it should be quite strong and no glass bits to drop? Any jam jar with a suitable size to support the bulbs, as long as they are clear and clean.  Plastic bottles are possible but the top where cut can be very sharp for the bulb - children by Daintiness

woolly aphid on crab apple tree
Ont chemical insecticide,chemical herbacide,and chemical funguside is banned,so we are compelled to use horticultural soap ect,We now have more bugs,weeds and fungus than ever before. The soap dosn't kill bugs it just makes them nice and clean. Bill by Lynda T

I spell it.  I agree with you regarding cleaning agents, the use of herbs not only smells good, but many of them are as you say, disinfectant and antimicrobial.  Rosemarie is one as is mint, especially the deeper green ones such as black perppermint by flowering rose
