Clematus montana or triffid?
Hi. We have a clematis Montana growing over a shed. It has been neglected for the last couple of years and is now just a tangled mass of woody stems. It is covered in buds though and so I am wondering when I can safely cut it right back and thin by Ziminuk

Neighbours dogs - my plant pots!
, numerous trays and pots of perennials and shrubs - I don't want to go on listing them, it's too terrible! Anger aside, what I need right now (apart from some sort of electrical deterrent or a sedative) is a first-aid cure for a wilting Clematis by Dinah

and the newly planted leeks and broad bean plants water wise as well. Otherwise it is war on the dandelions and bindweed and gathering great bunches of lily of the valley and anemones for the house now that my beautiful Mother's Day flowers have wilted. Hope by lazygardner
