've spelt it right)! I always do my seeds every year, missed them one year and truly missed them, they are so beautiful and never fail to get a comment from visitors to my patch.I also love nicotiana for their fragrance and the milklady always commented by titaflan

a superb flavour, don't they Margaret. However, do find space for a thornless blackberry like 'Loch Ness' if you can. It's such a pleasure to pick the fruits without getting scratched, and the individual fruits are far bigger. We went to collect by Jane Moore

a lovely display of summer bedding plants this year but does anyone know if I can compost them. Will the seeds they've produced just rot down, or will they germinate once the compost is used in my garden? I have 16 baskets full of Bizzie Lizzies by Methuselah

feeders. Then there are wood pigeons, mice and bank voles and magpies. Even the blackbirds root around my newly seeded vegetable bed for worms. All permanent residents. This is before the slugs and snails get going on the plants. As for 'weeds', I let by anon

relised it must be a dud from seed so dug it out to replace it.the wisteria was holding the panel secure once gone the thieves lifted the six foot panel and lifted the scooter over a raised bed and the gravel board to get it away.I now have every panel by dreamer

has self seeded. This, like most of my gardening was a lucky guess. I had been bobbing around the front of the border carrying the Eryngium root ball and squinting, trying to work out where to squeeze it in when I put it down to rest on the grass by tadrcf@aol.com
