out what you like to eat and want to grow.Make a seed list. Make a rough plot plan...Draw in your beds and paths etc (if you haven't already got any). If you have a water supply on or near your plot decide which plants need the most water and situate by Tabbycats

friendly garden.  I have nectar plants, a pond, shrubs for birds to perch, feeders all year round, nest boxes, an insect hotel, a pond, wood piles and I leave seed heads on most perennials till spring as these provide food for birds.  I also use wildlife by Cranesbill

Recycling things to use in the garden

B&Q M.Purpose Compost Issues.
leaves and then seemed to have stopped.  I wondered about the compost, they have changed the printing on the bag and now say it is not suitable for seeding? Also, I have a lot of mould on the compost.  You can only see it on the sides of the peat pots by Gordon Campbell

, detest bedding with a passion....mainly for the reason's you stated. I prefer to grow perennials from seed and watch them grown into strong mature plants over the years. I tend to fill up with cosmos and california poppies where possible, but inevitably by sarahs pondlife...

that I've grown from seed that I collected from my original plants. I'm just hoping I can pack it with even more colour this year and encourage more butterflies and bees. I have put three bird nesting boxes up for Blue Tits and Robins, all they have to do by donutsmrs
