Catananche - how to propagate?
should wait until it sets seed? Any thoughts gratefully received..... They are a short lived perennial, but can be propagated in several ways, You can split up a clump in spring, You can take root cuttings in winter, or collect and sow your own seeds by Jontydoggle

How & when erisimum & scabious cuttings?
.  Should I deadhead the stalk off both plants too, to keep them producing more, or should I leave them on & is it worth collecting seed? Many thanks for any help.  Erisimum now-just pull a shoot away from the plant with a bit of a heel attached, trim by Lokelani

Young perennials/seedtrays in or out of greenhouse?
I"ve collected & sown various perennial seeds in trays. I also have delphiniums & similar grown from seed this year still in pots on the outside table. I just couldn't face putting them in the borders so small to fend off all the hundreds of slugs by Lokelani
