Talkback: Self-seeding plants
double, very small flower heads and large open faced ones. This year has been an absolute delight. I just wish the flowering season was not so short. I would like to know which annuals are worth collecting seeds from. I always collect nasturtium seeds by rosebowl

Lupins from seed
ripen first.  Leave the flowering stalk on the plant until the pods turn brown, then cut them off and you can collect the seed by opening the pods.  You can sow them straight away if you have a coldframe to overwinter the young plants in, or save them by Caroline Bridges
