Some advice please
will carefully transplant them in the garden hopefully they will selfseed but i will collect some seeds as well,they will be ok in a big pot in poor soil on the dry side. Alice - I currently have poppies germinating in a tray - not done it before so I'm crossing by Alice Tinker

Has anyone bought celendine seed , and are they hard to germinate ?  or am I better buying the plants , if so can anyone recomend a nursery which stocks a varied collection please maybe in yorkshire ? Thankyou in advance for any feedback X   Think by lucky3

Allergic reaction to garden plant - help ID that plant!
Within the last few months, the Gardeners' World TV show had a chap on who collected/grew tall, green possibly African shrubs. I think I have one on my garden. It has four stems, symetrically all the way up the main stem. It has little pumpkin like by Little Wren

When do you buy your seeds?
lot of things these days. I also reseal the packets as tightly as I can with paperclips after I've sown what I need. At the very least, I'd advise you to keep seed in a cool, dark dry place. I do need to reorganise my collection though, so by Tina_i_am

or something along those lines. This might help: http://www.whitehallpages.net/news/archive/307272 No disadvantage in normal use but do not try to set seed or pot on seedlings without cutting it down with washed sand and grit.I find you need to watch it in pots by nodlisab

should be able to collect seeds from it. It is often considered to be a weed, but it is used as green manure or animal fodder. Have you a photo? by Joy H

Lawn problem
years ago I laid turf in my back garden.  When the lawn was delivered it was 24 hrs late and not in the best condition.  I laid it and it seemed to take.  this year I decided to let all the leaves off the oak tree fall and then collect the by steve forbes

Problems with cerinthe seedlings
Having carefully collected my cerinthe seeds last year I sowed them a few weeks ago, they germinated really well and are currently in my conservatory. The true leaves are starting to sprout but the tips of these are turning brown at the end only by sarahford

USE BY DATE ON SEEDS
in an airtight tin. Especially as I collect a lot of seed and it may not be quite dry enough to store. Damp seeds rot easily if airtight. I check viability of old seed by dropping in a small amount of water, those that sink are viable, those that float have had by Eileen Peck
