Please help me design my garden - part 1
and colours, many of them perennial), perovskia, some dependable and adaptable shrubs like Spiraea and Skimmia, colourful foliage like Heuchera and  Tiarella. All of these are easily available and won´t need much care. How about two or three lupins near by Laura P

have an identical lily called Vesuvius, if by chance it is also your variety and your Lupins are stunning! Such a pretty pink! I still don't have Lupins in my garden even though they were in the bargain bin at GC, I couldn't decide a colour but yours by Wintersong

mystery tree
divided trunk (i.e. two trunks) of a pale, greyish colour, and single, mid-green, serrated, single leaves alternating rather than in pairs. They look rather like the leaves of a hornbeam or wild cherry, but I can find no  catkins, flowers or even seeds by Gardening Grandma

Sickly plants ? Try asprin.
soluble asprin - this really does work - it needs to be dissolved in a pint of water and will do wonders . Asprin is salicylic acid - exactly the same as the growth hormone in plants and derived from willow bark. Also for leaf colouration and magnesium by jean riley
