] they come in different colours so you might be able to get brown that wont look odd. I got teasels from a dried flower arrangement.cheers Ann walk around the garden and notice anything laying there, old wood , rubbish, odd stones lift and you wil find slugs by geoff fearn

Welcome to the garden design forum
of lovely sunflowers as well as french marigolds, petunias, variety of scented climbers and other numerous colourful beauties. We filled the borders with them as well as perinnials finishing it off with barked wood chippings. It looked lovely. In the bottom by Daniel Haynes

Chelsea!
flowers in the borders despite the two months of cold rain, cold wind, and just plain cold.My garden on a north eastern coast has more colour than Chelsea outside gardens, some clever stuff must admit and yes the Yorkshire garden does look like a local by Wintersong

months. With so little maintenance required and such vibrant colours, they make an ideal gift for somebody less able to be continually watering etc. WOW, nice to think that others enjoy this magnificent plant. I was given one the year before last at my by Nicepersonlikeyourpicture

HELP !!!!!what about ground cover plants- does it work?
than it was worth.What do you think ? I would welcome your views/ experiences  You could try ajuga, available in a number of leaf colours. This forms a dense mat that nothing can get through but, like all ground-cover plants, it will crawl over low by lucky3

Redesign of garden
the circle is a very small patio area in the same coloured stone, enough for a garden bench and at about 45 degrees across the circle is a small deck which is slightly raised to create height interest.  We have a huge cornish palm growing up through by Kate Bradbury

hedgetrimmer without the edges growing brown? I hate bergenias... I have always hated Ribes- pink redcurrant. seemed lots of gardens in the mining village where I gre up had at least one, they just smells of cat pee and are a dreadfull dull colour pink by SPAM VALLEY

Sizzling Summer Plant Deal
brought inside. Collect seed from violas to sow for next year.  The reason that this is a deal is it is anticipated to be disposable. Thanks So i have just wasted money? £15 All i want is some prertty flowers for my garden to add loads of colour all by pash2
