holders, tape over the bottom. Plastic drink cups, yogurt pots- look on freecycle-I often see flowerpots being given away. Most of the garden centres near me have a large bin neat the exit where they put trays (usualy used for holding pots), I've used by Lavender Lady

Talkback: Seed potatoes and mice
my seed potatoes at our local garden centre (Busy Bees, Ryde, I.O.W.). I got Kestrel, Charlotte, and Desiree, and have been very pleased with them. They more than filled a seed tray and were very healthy. It looks like yet another reason to be happy by Marc

Talkback: Death in mysterious circumstances
When I first moved here I purchased a bird bath and table to encourage the birds but have had no visitors because the neighbouring cats love to sit in my garden. So since a cat caught a bird I have disposed of the bird assessories and now enjoy by Janey

I also find it amusing when TV gardeners recommend we should use plants which slugs and snails dislike, such as hairy prickly plants and strongly flavoured herbs. They have eaten all my echinacea, in fact they love the flavour and it is the first by Carol

GW Presenters
I love Gardeners World and I love it now Monty Don has taken over.   But I am bewildered by the choice of other presenters.   I  mentioned this on another forum, but why on earth would the BBC want to take Alys Fowler off and replace her with Rachel by andrea3
