Weigela in containers?
Does anyone know if it's possible to grow Weigela in containers. I took some cuttings from my daughter's garden last summer which are now in 5 inch pots, growing well and in full flower. The flowers are very pretty and slightly scented, so I would by Lordswood

Advice on a single container please
Hi All, We have a south facing terraced house with a concreted over front garden that is about 4x2m. My cunning plan was to make this a low maintenance area using 3 pale terracotta containers in different sizes. The little one has that black by Brunneria

in the garden/containers  now-or preferably start them off in pots under cover so they get a bit of warmth and a head start and plant out at the end of May Lovely - thanks for the advice, that's really clear & helpful. Welcome dahlia help.I agree with lazy by dahliahelp

Growing hyacinths in water

that filming wasn't for them... We too have them along the roadside trees in Gladstone Park. They will happily raid the garden if there is food out and have formed a sybiotic relationship with the rooks who sit waiting underneath the feeders who, being more by Pene Welch

wire worms
potato peelings in a small container, Food tin with hinged lid would be ideal.  don't close the lid totally, but put the tin in your border just below soil level. And you can put as amny as you like around the garden. The wireworms will go into the tin by weejenny
