Talkback: Growing veg in containers: keep it cropping
. A woeful peformance (from me I mean, not the potatoes). They suffered massive slug and snail attack too: that does seem to be a disadvantage of containers.http://www.mandysutter.com/reluctant-gardener-day-355-the-weirdness-of-the-gardeners by lusia62

Long garden needs design help

Too late to plant more seeds?
I'm fairly new to gardening and follow seed packs exactly, but all the rain seems to have washed my parsnips and broccoli away. Is it too late to re sew? No, particularly as we've got a late season this year - seeds sown late will/should catch up by AJB

Talkback:
with using garden soil in bags containers it is not so free draining- like a proprietary compost- and tends to set like concrete sometimes and you might set up a cosy breeding ground for some nasties Having said that add some fertilizer and give it a go by Janice Spark

Where can I find?
Pots and grit ? Do you mean where can you buy them? If so any garden centre . Perhaps part of your message hasn't sent ?? Freecycle is a good source of pots; some garden centres have a container for people to leave old ones in if they by Majorie Peach
