Talkback: Couch grass
that is infested with couch grass. Digging it over and removing it will take forever and a day and we'd like to get it sorted this year so that we've got a garden. We'd prefer not to use a weedkiller and wondered if rotovating it would make it easier to remove by flowerbum

to is effective against ground elder. It has some chemical effect via the roots which deters ground elder from growing. Sounds good to me! Not sure if it works on bindwind though - you may need to do some more research? My experience of the couch grass by barton

Enormous Gooseberry Brush
Morning all,  first post on here, so please be gentle.  9 days ago we took over an overgrown allotment and have inherited a huge gooseberry bush, probably 5ft high.  Very overgrown with bindweed, stray raspberries, couch grass and I am sure by Mawbs

Raspberries
Hello We've recently taken over an allotment and there are well established raspberry canes completely overgrown with couch grass.  Would it be recommended to dig up the canes, remove the grass roots and replant - and if so is now the best time by Jeangenii
