Very overgrown blackberry
We have inherited a very overgrown blackberry at the bottom of the garden. Yesterday I gave it a thorough 'short back and sides' and exposed more healthy unripe fruit but feel it would benefit from a good prune. When does one do this and how much by Citygardener

Online design tools
Hi. Just watched joe swift on gdners world (8/3) design a cottage garden on a tablet/iPad or similar. Anyone recognise the app he used or could suggest a good value one. I'd love to give one a try plus it will cut down on the amount of paper wasted by PeeW

Pruning tall evergreen holly
them becoming root bound and pot them into a bigger container or the open garden soil as the roots start to fill the original pot.. Not all the cuttings will necesarily root of course (some of mine didn't) so it is worthwhile taking more than you need by Hu Cro
