Privet hedge dying
like a hedge on my travels I nip abit off (cple of bits maybe) then strip lower leaves / cut in half top leaves so more energy for cutting then simply stuff into a small part of garden & leave it alone...you can do loads of them... thus get young hedge by Bronto

Yew tree
I have a yew tree which badly needs cutting back due to its position in the garden.   Is there any reason  I shouldn't do it at this time of year? Some times might be better than others but I've hacked at them at most times of the year without by alimilna

Monkey Puzzle tree
My parents are moving and have a Monkey puzzle tree in there garden that they have had for about 30 years. They are sad to leave it but it is to big to take with them.Can you take cuttings from a monkey puzzle tree if so how sucessful are they to do by Ju3

Flies in my garlic plants
some bug spray (Bayer Garden Provado Ultimate bug killer) - can I spray the plants with this? Should I have not cut off the scapes? I also have rust on one plant - should I cut off the affected leaves?  Thank you! Provado isn't safe for edible crops, so by Stephanie_17

the little shoots from the side of the main stem and popped them in sandy soil. Gardengirl.. wrote (see) verbena bonariensis how do you take cuttings of that I have that one? If you referring to your plant in the garden, then now is not the right time by Gardengirl..

Are Heliotrope hardy
Helliotrope Marine and overwintered them indoors .  Tried fleecing them one year but no luck . Heliotrope Chatsworth is the best .....it is tender but survives often in my Cornish garden but I take cuttings in August and again from potted plants kept in a by Linda Taylor2
