! Hi Bob, someone else  has asked just the same thing. I found that Roundup works wonders. It took a while but I managed to get rid of it in my garden. I made a shield with an old drinks bottle by cutting off the top and bottom so its open both ends so by bob watterson

Roses
What is the best way to take and propagate rose cuttings?? Chris. 10" semi hardwood cuttings in a trench with sharp sand at the bottom, in September. I am sure there is a very recent thread all about this -sorry I can't look for it now. Hopefully by Christopher Dennison

Cutting Back Penstemons
I have a couple of very large Penstemons in my garden, which were lovely for a couple of years, but got too large so I cut them back.  They are still growing well but I had virtually no flowers last summer.   Was this because I cut them back by Novice23

Hypericum Magical Red Star Pruning?
this one.  They were a weed in our garden when we arrived here some 17 years ago, and we still have the occasional outbreak!  I'd certainly cut them back hard now if I were you.  I do have a very small one in an alpine bed, grows to about 12 inches by diggingdoris

Red Robin Shrub
Sorry if I am doing this all wrong - I am new to this, please bare with me! I have a red robin shrub in my garden.  My Great Nan (she used to own my house) always kept it cut in a rounded shape... it's really grown a bit mad I have heard by Leanne Weston

How do I take and grow cuttings of Smoke Tree (royal Purple) please?
Hi All My neighbour has a Smoke Tree that I just love and she said I can take some cuttings to grow, I am a bit of an amateur gardener so I would just like some advice on the best way to do this please and what will I need as far as routing powder by davielovesgravy
