Today's dilemma
thankyou for advice, may take note of that. Hedge cutting for a start. The neighbours conifer makes me itch!! Thinking some round plants and some in pots or something. Treat yourself to a new washing-up bowl.  Then you can use the old one for your onion by * Red Dahlia *

Slugs

June in Your Garden!
sentinels of foxgloves in flower, the peony is just on the brink. First pinks are out as well, will go back out to clear up and cut them for that heavenly scent. Rain forecast for tomorrow afternoon and through the night, so will finish planting up my mate by Wintersong

-is this right? Does the garlic have to be planted in full sun? Down the side of my house would be an ideal patch if the garlic would tolerate some shade. This is my first time with garlic can you give any tips. I have purchased a plant with what looks like 2 by StaceyF

if that will kill it off, nothing will grown near it. We have a small patch of Fallopia and I have found that regularly pulling it up is gradually weakening it and I predict that eventually I will win. Have dug every bit of this beautiful weed up.I THINK , Have by Jenny2712

.I would really love to hear more on freezing/storage on fruit & veg. You can freeze plums by cutting them in half, taking the stone out and placing them on a tray to freeze, then putting them in a bag when frozen, this avoids a big frozen clump. If you by Grannyanne
