flowering rhubarb
suggested she cut the flowers off as it might weaken the crown. Should we now feed it or is it because the ground is so rich that this has happened. She's next to a woodland so she gets a lot of leaf mould on her veg patch, and the soil is dark and rich. I by diggingdoris

Making wildflower turf
Hello all, has anyone made or heard about making a wildflower turf out of old blankets/ towels cut up and put into seed trays then covered with a bit of compost, then sprinkle wildflower seeds on top - to make a wildflower garden. Any help please by Gardengirl..

moving rubarb
Hi just got an allotment off the council after waiting ove 5 years but already had a private one which was located about 8 miles from my house the new one is only 2 minute walk which is excellent.Anyway i have a good rubarb patch at my old garden by shaunandnicola

Moss
Is it ok to put moss on the compost heap after scarifying the lawn? I wouldn't because I do not think it will break down. You can put all lawn cuttings in with your compost don't put to much together try putting paper and cardboard in layers to add by Ogre

New lawn
cut i took it to a height of 30cm, the second and third 20cm. Even though it looks like it is flourishing, on cutting it, i notice that there are patches where it has died of, which is unsightly to say the least. I have no idea why this has happened by ogster

Raspberries
I have limited space in my veg patch and wondered whether I would be able to grow raspberries and other soft fruit such as blackcurrants and gooseberries against a fence which gets about 4/5 hours sunshine a day.  I do not want to utilise one of my by lorrainespooner

A few things
growth i started noticing patches and areas getting slightly waterlogged. Over winter i have also noticed worm cast. I have started to aireate the ground and fill the holes with sand but due to the cold not started to cut or scarify it. Is this my only by ogster
