Talkback: How to make a bee hotel
heap. You can also buy a box of live bumblebees for the home garden now called a Beepol box. To suggest using Japanese knotweed for bee hotels is very risky and ill advised. Cutting knotweed canes in the summer while they're still growing is likely by rogerdennis

Rhododendron Mould?
, all are infected and most are about 9' high and are infected all over!  I had a look and they do have white scaley patches on them, so I'm guessing you're right with your diagnosis.  I'm wondering if chopping them right back might be an option by Christine Bethell

Uses for last years grow bags/compost

When to prune Arabis alpina "snowcap"
to prune it and now it's flowering near the compost and at the end but there is a big brown patch in the middle. When it's finished flowering I shall cut off all the overhanging bit. I prune all Arabs hard after flowering. It makes them compact by hollie hock
