Can anyone tell me what these plants are
are weeds - Creeping Buttercup is quite invasive and the Hawkbit-type plant will spread all over your garden by seeds like smaller dandelion clocks.  I'd pull them up if I were you, unless you're very fond of them. by lemonjello

Stinging Nettles in lawn
How do you get rid of stinging nettles in lawns? I love walking bare foot on grass and they ventured onto the lawn when it was neglected for two years.  Dan x Use a selective weedkiller for treating broad-leaf weeds like dandelions- it will not harm by Doctor_63

Silene and Phlox roots
was in the  process of clearing it, but I was wondering if the roots of either of these are' persistent'?  Dandelion roots are persistent, but Creeping buttercups are not (as long as you remove all the growing points). Anyone any experience of clearing by Berghill

lawn feed and weed
I threw the lawn weed and feed over the dandelions yesterday  and the starlings came down and was eating it will it do them any harm  Can't answer your Q but it's a tab bit late now if it does, might be better not to know the answer . If it helps, I by joyce mannell

I have stones and underlay carpet down on my front garden but a dandelion has managed to grow next to my hydrangea how do I remove it please without hurting the Hydrangea thank you Bit puzzled-but if you cannot dig into the soil then use a by maura murphy

Lawn weedkiller
have loads of weeds, dandelion and clover mainly, but am scared of killing my lawn.  Does anyone know the truth? Thank you If you follow the instructions it works-unfortunately people thing a litttle bit more-or a lot more- will work quicker and wont by Susan O'Meara

that sometimes, dandelions can be really beautiful. Where we live, there's a field just behind our house that's full of the things, so trying to get rid of them is a futil exercise, and they make the lawn so pretty.. not so keen on them in the beds though! I by Elisabeth
