hired a rotovator, carefully dug it over sowed grass seed and regret to say it's now full of moss and not major but still annoyingly large amounts of daisies, dandelions etc. Try your best, but remember immaculately maintained beautiful gardens also by mavis8491

. Its an east facing slope, and covered in grass and dandelions currently. No over hanging trees, and its got 6ft fences all round. I've never had the opportunity to plan a veg garden layout from a really blank canvas, and keep changing my mind about by Middle Man

. They loved cow parsley but cow mumble was a different plant, also eaten by by the rabbits, but not as popular. I wonder if I would be allowed to wonder the fields and hedgerows - alone- now. Besides dandelions my rabbits also like ground elder, bindweed, dock by HappyMouffetard

dandelion) and don't add cooked food (attracts rats.) I don't put weedy stuff in the bin, or cooked food or meat scraps. Woody prunings take a long time, but you can help by cutting them small or shredding them. I put in general kitchen waste -veg peelings by Bev Pounsett-Krynauw

pokervarious ground cover such as erigeron karavinskensis and ajuga reptans, anddark and yellow foliage And I didn't see the 'weedy' gardens! It probably doesn't come across on tv! Mind you I leave my dandelions in places- the bees love them and they survive by Loraine Kelly
