removing flowers from helebore
you want the seed yes deadhead them.  If the flowers are left you will get lots of little hellebores popping up next year, the seeds don't travel far so all the seedlings are likely to be close to the parent plant and will compete so lift and pot up by Bev Pounsett-Krynauw

Please identify this plant
have them in my garden, more and more each year, both in yellow and a few in orange.   I have never planted them, they just arrived.   I agree with Figrat - definitely no need to sow seeds! In fact, it might be an idea to deadhead them in future by Andrew Rimmer

. All one colour - deep red? Fine and it does have a wonderful perfume. Leave the large red hips to over winter so don't deadhead them. by ChapelGirl2

Will my winter pansies ever flower?
varying extremities and they may not have got off you the healthiest start. When they do start flowering deadhead them as soon as the flowers are slightly past their best this should encourage lots more flowers. These are some of my violas bought as plug by Dave19

. Dahlias started late in spring will also flower a little later. Be patient. I'm sure they will start flowering in August, and hopefully continue well into autumn. Deadhead regularly, and give a liquid feed to boost gowth. I too have these two faced Dahlias by Darren

All year round Wall basket - drought resistant!
drainage holes so any excess water can drain. Then plant it up with lavender or rosemary. These plants thrive in dry, sunny conditions, so do well from a little neglect. The lavender will need deadheading and a bit of a prune to keep it in shape (many by NJJ272

Geum rivale 'Leonard's Variety'
.  They flowered beautifully until a week but I have to admit I was unsure whether to deadhead or cut the stems at the base or something else as the flowers died.   The last flowerheads are like in this photograph - seed?  There are no new flowers on both plants by yarrow2

it has grown about 1.5 metres and has now stopped growing. I thought it would have grown higher than this?????? Should I have dead-headed as the flowers were dying? Seems to have lots of new growth but not sure if I have done something wrong by Lucy3

Help me plant these plant pots
wall which get sun all day long (when we are lucky enough to have any!).   Each week I take the baskets down to dead-head them and then put them back again the other way around.   So each basket gets a week of sun followed by a week of shade by LeadFarmer
