Lawn care and rabbits
My girlfriend keeps two rabbits which graze on our lawn.  The lawn is almost full of weeds as I've not wanted to apply weed and feed in the two years we've had the rabbits.  I want to deal with the weed problem but don't want to harm the rabbits by Pat 2012

Weeding - a forgotten skill? Discuss ....
of things have changed. Many 'gardeners' wouldn't be able to identify a weed. And even if they could, they wouldn't want to be bothered with such tedious faffing around. They believe that the easiest way of dealing with 'weeds' is by applying various by Dovefromabove

Moss
My front lawn has a great deal of moss amongst the grass.  If I put down a moss killer, I am afraid I will have an almost bare lawn.  What should I do? If you use a moss killer with a weed and feed treatment combined that will help-when the moss had by jenniferrussell

woolly aphid on crab apple tree
anyone got any suggestions of how to deal with them. I hose them off regularly but the always come back. Thank you. They are a real nuisance. Try using a Horticultural soft soap. This is made from plant material and is reasonably organic. Here in Toronto by Lynda T

Talkback: How to make compost
walked also over the area - what is the best way to deal with this earth so that I can look forward to growing vegetables there soon? I cannot afford a great expense. You can put crab apples in your compost but it would be better to let the birds eat by meg.hopkins@yah

Hairy Bittercress control
I have been dealing with this prolific weed for about six years now. I arrived home from Fl. two days ago and and have spent all my waking hours on hands and knees hand picking to the tune of five (5) large plastic bags full. For those of you by Jag3

I have recently just started to maintain a few gardens. The gardens I look after are very large and this includes a large area of pathway, and a large area of driveway. I am looking for advice on how to purchase a more industrial weed and moss by Richard Walsh

Perennial weeds
I have a large plot with a substantial perennial weed problem. I'm okay with the weeding part but I'd like to know the best way to compost the vast quantities I dig out. I originally put them into a separate open composting area but am building up by rmenmuir@btinternet.
