Lavetera 'Bredon Springs'
I planted this shrub last year and it has put on a lot of leaf but it had very few flowers. I thought it was deciduous, but it is still in full leaf and has a few flowers.  Is this correct? I understand it needs pruning in spring, how drastically do by Rosa carriola

Viburnam gone brown
All my viburnam and japonica shrubs have gone brown.  Please help!! It's most likely a sign of cold.  Many evergreen viburnums round here are looking very brown, as they have after the last 3 or 4 winters here.  They usually recover by June so by Andy Thorburn

Red Robin shrub
I have a Red Robin shrub in my garden and I am constantly having to clean up the lawn because of fallen leaves. It doesn't seem to be deciduous as it generally retains its leaves through the winter. However single leaves fall constantly by Dorinda Mcilwraith

Pruning a beech hedge
? Many thanks I think this would be more like winter pruning of deciduous shrubs than hedging. I'd do it after this cold snap has finished Trim hedges in the late winter, before birds start nesting, and to encourage them to thicken up.  If you're sure by chicky
