raised flower bed plants - ideas please!
...wondering if there are Cornuses with purple leaves... Other option is moving the Acer to gain even more space and sticking a Fuji cherry  in there which grows to may 2.5m but the soil isn't ericaceous... Or a sword-shaped leafed plant?  Any ideas on good shrubs, not too slow by ilovemontydon

idea. Eucalyptus shrubs/trees tend to be evergreen so if your tree is deciduous this response from me can be ignored !!! Also, after time, some varieties shed their bark which is an attractive feature, in my view, as it makes it more interesting by Gardening Grandma
