Dividing perennials
Is it too late to divide perennials? I started to dig up my veronicastrum a month ago but was defeated by an unexpectedly huge rootball which I needed help for & didn't get so I covered it back round again. If I do manage to get it out of the ground by Diggetty

I find I have to lift and divide primulas at least every third year else they disappear altogether. I open to "my public" for the very first time tomorrow so it can bucket down with rain from Wednesday night onwards. Wish me luck everyone, as I do by Adam Pasco

Sweetpeas - shall I divide up my plugs?
I have had some sweet pea plugs devivered and each 1in x 1in pot has 3,4 or 5 stems in it. Each plant has 3/4 sets of leaves and they are quite root bound. Should I divide up the individual plants at all or are they ok like this? Thanks!     Leave by PaperFlowers
