Iris's and Gladioli
I Have planted iris's for the first time this year and they have come up a treat. Will I need to divide them this year or do I just leave them in the ground, also can i leave Gladioli corms in the ground or do I need to dig them up? Just answered by Petew

Evergreen hedging query
Can anyone please give me some feedback on what would make a new evergreen hedging as a divide between two houses. Currently I have a lovely display of bamboos but they have grown too well and the neighbour is complaining. Ideally I want to grow by Keef

Broken Links
Just a heads up for those that run the website. Some of the links in the 'What to do now' section are faulty. For example in the flower section for week 22-28 April the Lift and divide clumps of hemerocallis link gives you an Ooops, page cannot by Wodufin

Not bulbs at all!
this before.  I wonder when I should divide them. Hi ellie. I don't have drumsticks but divide other primulas after they've flowered. Might not be 'right' but it works. by elliedaisy

Bamboo dying
Hi, I have divided my bamboo plant by cutting the roots off. Now it seems to be dying. What can I do to save it? Please help. Thanks Eula I don't understand what you mean by 'cutting the roots off'.Bamboos can normally be propagated by dividing by Eula

Crocosmia has croaked it!
my crocosmia has karked it? The original patch thats been there for about 4 years (due a divide) normally flowers profusly. I've had about 3 flowers off it and the leaves started going brown long before it started to bud. Other plants in the garden by Sparklepinksunflower

When to re-pot Dicentra (bleeding heart)
this year) and I think it could do with a slightly bigger pot. On the BBC site it says that if you want to divide the plant you should do so March-May. Mine doesn't need dividing, just re-potting. When would be the best time to do this? Thanks, Kaitlin Do by Kaitlin De Luca

Moving grasses

No flowers
Hi just wondering what is wrong with one clump of my Delphiniums as they have not flowered for two years. Usually a sign that that the clump is over crowded-you can divide it or next spring when the new growth appears take basal cuttings and start by keeleykins

Woody rhubarb
Assuming you are seeking advice , I would suggest it is short of moisture.  Ours was woody last year when we had a very dry spring.  This year it's very juicy. It may also be that your plant is getting old and needs to be lifted and divided by Attia of the Julii
