Iris bulbs
I have dug up and divided a huge clump of iris bulbs which didn't flower this year.  I plan to replant them, but what do I do with the bulblets?  Will they develop into full sized bulbs?  If so, do I leave them attached to the 'parent' or separate by smallswan

Red Hot Pokers
When i have tried to clear cut out it looks like it has gone into the core of the plant, which looks like a whole in the centre where the plant has snapped of. The whole plant is not looking healthy, should i dig up and divide getting rid of anything by 12 michele

Moving Irises now?
, seems a logical place to move some irises to. I'm wondering if its too late in the year now to move these? Many thanks James   Hi Jammy2, I divided mine last week and it's still early autumn so I would say it would be fine. The ground will still be warm by Jammy2

Nemesia
also divide Nemesias easily. Just pull it apart, make sure you have a bit of root on each section, pot on separately and they will soon take off. Thanks toonia. Will do. by Musical Cricketer

basil, chives and parsley
in that pot - chives grow like grass, single strands so don't spread. As they grow on you can simply divide if you feel it is a little crowd. For your basil sow a little less than the chives. Also, basil do not like the cold - grow on in a greenhouse or a sun by David 25

Autumn
though. Thanks for that advise nutcutlet, not sure we will get one of those this year! They're interesting and the one year in about 10 that I've had flowers they were fantastic. Other years it's fust a few and last year it was one.  Do you need to divide by arbutus1

Another shrivelled bamboo query...
at base of plant, should I divide up the big clump into a few smaller, or is one new shoot not enough to warrant this? I had been thinking of thinning out all dead looking stems but then thats the whole plant..! Leave it alone until later in the year by SeonaidD
