Talkback: How to harvest garlic
raised bed overwinter, and have now found that each bulb has divided into at least 10 smaller bulbs, each one is like a spring onion, I am going to try and grow them on again and see what happens, hopefully I will get lots of garlic, Q. has anyone else by Denzle43

French tarragon - getting it though the winter

Can anyone help identifying a plant?
took some cuttings and so far they seem to be holding their own. I didn't realise you could just pull a piece out with a little root it would grow. When I looked at mine it seemed like it grew out from 1 central root and as I didn't want to divide by Lunarz

quite happily, but it does need doing every day to get on top of it. Lunarz Being organic obviously restricts your weaponry somewhat-but I wouldn't give up yet-why not cut most of the foliage off-dig up and divide a few roots and plant in a different by Lunarz

do these need to be divided as mine have not produced the same number of flowers and used to be big and it is not  I don't really know, having never kept them, but I use just looked online and I dont think so, but dig one up just to check whether by Rosemarie Curtis

How and when to move a large Bamboo
and very difficult to move.This is an excellent opportunity to divide the plant. Large bamboos are not cheap to buy, so you can save yourself a lot of money by dividing large bamboos. I use a saw - the type you would use to cut up logs. A breadknife would by Debs4

Day lily not flowering
many hours of sunshine your parents' plants get and then compare to yours there could be the answer.  I believe that crocosmia and spirea will do well almost anywhere. Finally - and sorry to bang on so long - it may be that the clump needs to be divided by SiwanS
