grass cuttings
supressant. yes it does go mushy and slimey but if it is spread thin it soon disappears and even weakens bind weed and dock and dandilion. it works ok in the compost bins too if spread thin  and mixed with other plant matter and uric acid, as suggested by 4711

Digging a vegetable Plot
garden last year. The veg plot had not been used for 10 years. All the clay subsoil that had been dug out while landscaping for a conservatory had been dumped on top. I initially sprayed the lot with glyphosate to get rid of the perennial docks, bindweed by Jayn

realy big empty garden
/woods; dock control in the orchard; hogweed control everywhere. Once a year hiring a heavy-duty brush cutter to cut the orchard grass, then a week later raking it and putting it as mulch around the fruit trees and new trees in the woods. Strimming between by Diana Reynolds
