Advice for raised border
I want to put a raised bed on the lawn, right against the fence. However, I wanted to use this type of siding/edging on it's own instead of those lumbar raised bed kits. Will this work or do I have to use one of those raised bed boxes? http://www by Arose

What is eating my bergenias?
I love bergenias. I have twelve different sorts and have never had a problem until now. But something is eating huge semi-circular chunks out of the edges of the leaves. I don't think it's slugs (no trails, pelletts used) and haven't found any by Berkley

are years old and still going strong.A rub with a fine file will put the edge back on Secateurs, there will be a flattish edge on the blade just before the cutting edge so rub the file from the back of the blade towards the cutting edge taking off any burrs by Cetti

Talkback: Seed catalogues
How come, the minute you've irretrievably sent in your seed order, a 'must have' always comes to mind. I've been growing Cosmos 'Peppermint Rock' for a number of years, B&Q used to sell the seeds. The pink edging is beautiful and eye catching by Dorothea Otte

Morrisons Tulips
I bought packs of tulips from Morrisons last autumn for about a £1 for a  pack of 10.  Was not sure what to expect when they bloomed.  I can say they are absolutely beautiful.  I bought a cream with pale green edge and a dark mauve by Lavender Lady
